Benefits of Ekkehard-Stiftung Scholarship

As an Ekkehard-Stiftung scholarship recipient, I’ve been helped to remove the financial burden on my one-year study in Mannheim University. It contributes not only to my academic study, but also broadens my experience to achieve my goals.

It economically enables me to effectively concentrate on completing my academic study, which gives me the motivation to stay focus on achieving my goals and challenge myself instead of thinking about financial issues. The scholarship covers half of my living expenses monthly, which helps in accommodation and insurance cost. Ekkehard-Stiftung Scholarship has made my education and life in Germany much easier, and also my goals easier to obtain.

In addition, the scholarship from Ekkehard-Stiftung allows me to selectively and wisely spend my free time during the study. It gives me a wealth of opportunities to network with people from different cultural background who can assist me in understanding international business. Having fewer burdens on living expenses makes me able to actively join extracurricular events in school, such as Stammtisch, VISUM events. It has brought me diverse and excited experiences during the study in Germany. Meeting international students and making local friends do help me to conquer my homesickness and cultural shock. At the same time, I have the opportunities to visit other cities in Germany such as Berlin, Munich, and Dresden etc., to discover historical sites and attractions.

It made a big difference in how much time I spend on developing my knowledge and experience. In this way, I have made the most of life in Mannheim University.
